Hi Dr. Andrew. i ve had a TAH 9 weeks ago. i am still having alot of tugging in my lower abdomen. i also feel like i have a very heavy load in my tummy. i am still walking very slowly and it gets worse towards the end of the day. my tummy appears to be much more swollen in the evening. General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for the query. I understand your concern.
Post-operative swelling and discomfort are uncommon at 9 weeks.
You could try using pain killers for time being but please visit your doctor to get X-ray abdomen and CT scan is done to see if there is any fluid collection or gas collection in the abdomen which could be the reason for your discomfort.

Hope this helps.
